Andrew Bosomworth graduated from the Advanced Studies Program in International Policy Research at the Kiel Institute and holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Canterbury. Andrew worked at Merrill Lynch trading interest rate swaps, and at New Zealand’s Debt Management Office. He has also worked at the European Central Bank as portfolio manager and senior economist. Andrew joined PIMCO in 2001 and is currently an executive vice president and head of portfolio management in the Munich office.

Objective

The investment objective of the Fund is to seek to maximise total return, consistent with the preservation of capital and prudent investment management. The Fund invests primarily in investment grade Fixed Income Instruments, but may invest up to 10% of its net assets in Fixed Income Instruments that are rated lower than Baa3 by Moody's or lower than BBB- by S&P. The Fund may invest without limit in EUR-denominated Fixed Income Instruments of non-EU issuers. At least 90% of the Fund's assets will be invested in securities that are listed, traded or dealt in on a Regulated Market.
